We're Here to Help
Students will once again have access to in-person counseling as well as tele-health counseling( counseling via Zoom). Counseling Services can be reached at 610-892-1270 or you can come to the Student Affairs suite in the Student Union to schedule an appointment. Please review the services we are offering for the Fall semester below.
In-Person Clinical Services
Individual Counseling – Counselors provide one-on-one mental health counseling during a scheduled time in the counseling center. Counseling sessions typically go 45 minutes to an hour.
Group Counseling – Group of four to six students meet weekly with a counselor to receive support from the counselor and each other. Sessions run about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes.
Virtual Clinical Services
Individual Counseling – Counselors will provide a Zoom link for you to meet one-on-one during a scheduled time. All you need is a private, comfortable space to Zoom from. Sessions typically run from 45 minutes to an hour.
Telepsychiatry – Penn State Brandywine now offers Telepsychiatry to all students through Mantra Health Services. Mantra offers HIPPA-secure video and messaging while allowing you to interact with your provider on your own time. Students have nine free sessions annually with the first appointment being an hour and following sessions 30 minutes each.
Non–Clinical, In-Person Support Services
Footin' it Fridays – Join Counseling Services for a stroll on the cross country course. Enjoy the quiet and comforting sounds of nature with other students while you get some exercise walking through the woods in the back of campus.
